SCANDWICHES- how to make art out of sandwiches

I didn't know that but November the 3rd was the National Sandwich Day (Americans you do know how to surprise me! I guess in Italy we should invent the National Pasta or Pizza Day).
Anyway, blogger and sandwich lover Jon Chonko has compiled some of his favorite scanwiches (yes, those are sandwiches that are scanned) into Scanwiches, The Book.
The book and the websites www.scandwiches.com is just a collection of images of sandwiches, some of them look them good others look totally disgusting!!
I was so impressed by the idea of making a book and a website out of sandwiches that I have decided to dedicate a post to the initiative.
Below you can see some images from the website.

Happy Sandwich Day!!! Celebrate with a sandwich (or by ordering a sweet book about them). Featured Scanwich: A Dagwood from the Scanwiches Book.
