Miss Lamparita and her beautiful lamps

Something I really loved about Wunderplaz - an exhibition for designers in Bologna which took place last Sunday- was the fact that I came to know many creative and interesting people.
One of them is Sara Trentini, alias Miss Lamparita. She makes beautiful lamps by reusing old common objects like tea pots, cups, hair dryers and almost everything you can think of...she can also make lamps with your own objects and according to your taste.

Mirelle handmade bags at Wunderplaz

Last Sunday I took part at Wunderplaz, an event hosted inside the Teatrino degli Illusi in Bologna. 10 designers had the chance to exhibit their works..so I brought my Mirelle bags over..and actually they had a big success!

Here are some pics of the place and of my little stand. The theatre was just the perfect place!

The pics were taken by Chizu Kobayashi, the Japanese creative who designed and made the plexiglas butterflies of my bags....

Yesterday it was a big success at Matta e Goldoni, a fantastic shop in Via delle Moline 1/c, Bologna.

Chizu Kobayashi (http://www.chizkobject.com) and myself presented our bags (Chizu designed and made the butterfly you see on the bags in the pics). All bags are unique, they are made of vintage fabrics from all over the world (some of them come from my grandpa's cabinet). They can be order online by sending me an email at mirelle74@gmail.com and the prices depend on the model...and pls, keep in mind that although the model is the same, fabrics can vary...just tell me the colour you prefer and I ll do my best to stick to your request :)
