My husband knows how much I love shopping and actually, more than that, how much I love window shopping...so today he took me to see some nice shops in Budpaest (and believe me, there are plenty of super nice shops). One I fell in love with is called Retrock; it is in central Budapest and is a little gem.
It sells modern, exclusive and entrancing clothes and accessories for both women and men by young Hungarian deisgners: Anh Tuan, Cistas, Je Suis Belle, Nagy Adrienn, Nanushka, Szép Szidónia and Zsega.
i didn't buy anything ..but here are some of the pics I took in the shop.
Retrock is in Henszlmann Imre utca 1.
You can also vist its website at http://www.retrock.com

Back to Budapest - so much is going on in summer time!
I know. I m guilty. I haven't uploaded any new posts in ages. The main reason for that is that I have first been to Riccione (100 km from Bologna, at the seaside - and before leaving I decided not to take my laptop with me - big mistake I know) and now I am in Budapest, Hungary.
I thought I could rely here on my husband international internet USB key which is obviously not working now....
So basically now I find myself in Hungary's capital (where the weather is pretty cold and I have NO warm clothes..and the Sziget Festival is currently running) with no internet connection..and this is driving me crazy!!
I am planning to stay here for the next 10 days...so I have to figure out some survival techniques...I ll have to pay visits to internet points, use the wifi connection at starbucks (and connect through my i phone)...but God...this is going to be hard...
Anyway here are some of the pics I have recently taken with my i phone (using the hipstamatic application in some cases)
Pic 1. The Szalaij Bakery close to my house...excellent food (and one of the oldest in town, established in 1917)
Pic 2. View of Buda and the Danube from Pest
Pic 3. Thai massage in Budapest (Sen Spa, close to Szabagsad Square)..I love it!
Pic 5. Antique shop plus book shop (unfortunately closed...but what a beautiful sign!!!)
and the last 2 pictures were taken in Riccione...just before leaving the beach and heading to Budapest!!

London Fashion Week - if not there, where?
London Fashion Week is an apparel trade show held in London, England twice each year, in February and September. It is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks, along with New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
This year it will take place between the 16th and the 20th of September.
If you have a look at http://www.londonfashionweek.co.uk you will see the long list of designers taking part to it and all the main events that will be organized during those days (most of them take place at Somerset House in London).
The London Fashion Week is mainly for buyers and the fashion industry.
Consumers can attend the Vodafone Fashion Week and purchase tickets for the week end 22nd-25th of September.
Vodafone London Fashion Weekend uses the same exhibition and catwalk venue. Vodafone London Fashion Weekend is essentially a designer shopping event, where members of the public can shop from designers of London Fashion Week calibre, from the high profile to the emerging, at reduced prices.
Here are some pics from the last fashion week.

Bagus and Bags, Ibiza
Ibiza is the glamorous Balearic Island. It is on the short list for trend-spotting and remains a constant for trend forecasters to seek out what's next.
Spain is know for its leather craftsmen. From simple belts that do not look so simple to ethnic leather bags that define time and style.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I love Bagus - which has 2 branches in Ibiza - and the leather bags it sells...here are some random pics taken in Bagus in Ibiza (www.ibizabagus.es)

I know leather is not that ethical and animal friendly...but I was totally fascinated by the beauty of these bags and belts ...

Crazy shopping in crazy Ibiza
Some of the pics below there were taken by my very patient husband while I was shopping in Ibiza...the first 2 were taken in Bagus, my favourite leather shop in the whole island! (and yes, I bought the little black bag I am holding)
One morning in a disco on a beach..yes, it was morning...and that was the matinèe at the Space, one of the most famous discos of the world :)
Dinner in Dalit Villa (the old town)..restaurant Le Olive
more shopping close to the harbour...
I really loved and enjoyed every single day I spent in Ibiza...the island is magic, with a great atmosphere and interesting, beautiful and funny people. I can't imagine any better place where to spend some holidays ...and definitely the shops are something not be missed!
The pics were taken with my husband's blackberry...so, sorry for the bad quality!
