Mirelle bags at Kolonihaven - Copenhagen

It has been a hectic week...I left last Sunday for Copenhagen, I spent 3 days there working, working and working and walking, walking, walking. And ...I also manage to get in touch with Christel who runs a beautiful shop in Copenhagen city center, called Kolonihaven. The shop sells almost everything you think of...but what I like the most of it is that it has a great style (see the red and white stripes on the floor, I love them!), it sells clothes, earings, bags, ceramics and much more by different Danish designers ... and it is so old-style!!
The great news is that from this month until the end of April my bags - Mirelle www.mirelle.org - will be on sale there!
Thank you Christel for making this possible!!
The address is  Skoubogade 5 (one street away from Stroget, the main pedestrain and shopping  street) and the website www.kolonihaven.com.
If you happen to be in Copenhagen....don t miss it!

My Handmade &Vintage Mirelle bags - the bags I make with old upholstery fabrics in collaboration with Chizu Kobayashi - have finally arrived at Etoile Blanche, a super cosy shop in Bologna City Center (Via Barberia 12/B)...the big week-end bag you see in the picture is made of a beautiful fabric from the 50's....the price in the shop is around 165 euro...
If you are interested in buying similar bags ( BTW...each bag is unique, there is just one piece of each) you can contact me at mirelle74@gmail.com....

Mirelle handmade bags at Wunderplaz

Last Sunday I took part at Wunderplaz, an event hosted inside the Teatrino degli Illusi in Bologna. 10 designers had the chance to exhibit their works..so I brought my Mirelle bags over..and actually they had a big success!
Here are some pics of the place and of my little stand. The theatre was just the perfect place!
The pics were taken by Chizu Kobayashi, the Japanese creative who designed and made the plexiglas butterflies of my bags....
