Yoko Gibran
Mother is a fashion label designed by Yokoo Gibran. I learned about Yokoo when her chunky crochet chain necklaces were featured on Design Milk. And I just love the new dresses she has designed.

Poti poti from Berlin - Autumn/winter sale
Poti Poti was created in 2005 by the designers Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo. The lable was created to fill the gap between graphic design, art and fashion. The qualities are very nice and made in small textile companies from Castilla y Leon (Spain), Germany and Portugal, and they can be found in selected stores around the world.
I do like poti poti because it has fresh designs, great graphics and super nice qualities. Look out for their beautiful scarves...I love them (and anyway, at least in Italy, spring has yet to come :(!

Block Shop - hand printed scarves
I found out a nice blog run by an American living in Cape Town. She posted a link to these scarves and I find them beautiful. The brand is Block Shop which is an Indian textile company founded by sisters Lily and Hopie Stockman. They work with the Chhipa family of master printers based in Bagru, India, who have been hand block printing with natural dyes for over 350 years.Their textiles are printed one at a time with hand-carved wooden blocks and non-toxic natural dyes on the finest Indian silk-cotton blend.
How beautiful are they? http://www.blockshoptextiles.com/pages/about

Hanging gardens - Opus Studio from Cape Town
I feel the spring coming....and I would love to have a hanging garden in my apartment.
I find these plants and arrangements by Opus Studio in Cape Town really amazing. I wonder how difficult it is to keep a "hanging garden" like this. The interesting thing is that each plant needs a different amount of water, ventilation and sun...but I would love to give a try..

Mirelle bags at Kolonihaven - Copenhagen
It has been a hectic week...I left last Sunday for Copenhagen, I spent 3 days there working, working and working and walking, walking, walking. And ...I also manage to get in touch with Christel who runs a beautiful shop in Copenhagen city center, called Kolonihaven. The shop sells almost everything you think of...but what I like the most of it is that it has a great style (see the red and white stripes on the floor, I love them!), it sells clothes, earings, bags, ceramics and much more by different Danish designers ... and it is so old-style!!
The great news is that from this month until the end of April my bags - Mirelle www.mirelle.org - will be on sale there!
Thank you Christel for making this possible!!
The address is Skoubogade 5 (one street away from Stroget, the main pedestrain and shopping street) and the website www.kolonihaven.com.
If you happen to be in Copenhagen....don t miss it!
